JAPAN AND EVERYTHING I LIKE: A Traveler's Observation

They said that first impression last, and as for my experience, it really did last. All the things I know about Japan and all the things I read and watched were all proven and witnessed  by my own eyes. I don't really set high expectations about the places I visit, I might just get disappointed in the end, but in this case, I hope for the best and boy, no disappointments from the first day until the last day, it exceeded my expectations!

As soon as I stepped out of Narita airport, I already witnessed how organized Japan is. Being an organized person, I love  how things were put in the right places.

Staying here for ten days, I will list down all the things I observed, and all the things I like about Japan.

Japanese are really polite and courteous people, bow here, bow there and everywhere.  They will greet you be it on the trains, taxi, bus, convenience stores and everywhere you go. In fact, their politeness is very infectious, I still have this bow syndrome hahaha.

Aside from clean surroundings, Japan is well organized. Tokyo, being the capital is crowded, but the crowd is so organized that it doesn't look chaotic.  People don't bump each other on the streets because people walk on the left side going north, and walk on the right side going south. Even on the subways, there are arrows on the floor which you need to follow for you not to walk against other people.

People really follow traffic signs, even if the pedestrian is just only a three steps towards the other street, people won't cross it if it is a red light (talking about patience)

Buses, taxis, and private vehicles never blow their horns, I'm not just sure if there is a law prohibiting them to blow their horns but I just observed that they don't really blow them, that means there is no noise pollution.

School kids go to school alone without any adult company, so brave! Parents let their children go to school alone. I even saw some students taking the subway wow!

Most of the students spent their time at the shrine, temples,  and museums rather than staying at the mall or going somewhere else. It is nice to see that these students prefer to learn their culture rather than spending on nonsense things.

Old Japanese prefer to take long walks and do hiking rather than staying at home. I saw a group of old ladies does a 230 meters hiking, good lifestyle indeed!

Well, these are just a few things I observed during my ten- day visit to Japan, and there are lots of impressive things which you will like about this country. Japan is full of surprises which will leave you in awe!

I love Japan and everything about Japan! Definitely will go back here again. See you in summer Olympics!
