COUNTING DAYS: The Road to Europe 2015

The excitement I am feeling right now is indescribable, as days passed I am starting to have this mixed emotions. Everything is 100 percent okay and I am just counting the days until September 23.

As early as now, I can smell the brewed beer of Munich, the Belgian waffles and the paella of Spain. I can almost see the Eiffel Tower from a distant, hear the waves of Aegean sea and the flow of the River Seine.

Oh Europe! My dream vacation is fast approaching and I can't believe it is happening. I know that this trip will be exciting and fun, and of course memorable. I will definitely enjoy every single second of my stay there and I am looking forward to meet friends and fellow travelers and share travel experiences.

I was thinking of a different Friday routine since I usually spend my rest day staying at home, do the laundry, iron clothes and go out with friends at night to have coffee and eat. It has been a practice for about a year and a half now and I want to give my Fridays some twists and meet other people. I have been a member of couchsurfing for a year now and I have attended some of the gatherings in the previous months and I had an amazing opportunity to meet different people . This community is really wonderful specially you gets the chance to meet and mingle with different nationalities. Travel Essentials: Basic things you want to bring when travelling

What do you usually bring when you are traveling? What's inside your luggage when you go on a holiday? Aside from clothes, of course, there are some things that you don't wanna miss in your luggage when you go on a trip. I made my own list of things that I will bring when I go traveling, but of course, these things will depend on the place you are going to visit and what kind of activity you will do while on vacation. First on my list is my cell phone. I guess this is the most important (aside from money) thing that you shouldn't forget because aside from being a basic necessity, you can call your family or friends to give them update if you have reached your destination safely. Since phones now have applications, you can use your phone to connect to the internet and locate places through GPS in case you are lost or having difficulty in finding places.
