Istanbul was named as best destination by Trip Advisor in 2013, truly this city has a lot of things to offer. There are so many things to visit and discover as you started walking on the streets. I booked my hotel along Sultanahmet area, because this part of Istanbul is where all the major tourist attractions are located. They are just walking distance from each other and you can spend all your day hopping from one place to another. Actually you can spend your days in Istanbul without spending too much because there are many places there where you can visit them for free! From my hotel, the most iconic structure of Istanbul is just 200 meters away, so it is really convenient because you don’t need a taxi to reach this place. As soon as I put my things on my room, I did not waste any single minute to explore the place. I quickly went out of the hotel and started discovering the city and find out what it has to offer. It was a turbulent journey because of the weather condition, I was even quite nervous because I am not used to fly on a shaky plane and I even have this paranoia that we might disappear on thick clouds reminding me of what happened to MH370. As a travel agent I always get the opportunity to see some airlines' promo fares, so when Turkish airlines had its 50 percent off on its tickets, I immediately blocked the dates and booked my flight, I know this is already the opportunity that I have been waiting for so better not miss it! Paris has always been a dream destination for me, and when I start traveling I want to go there first, however, this is an expensive city and I need to save more money and doing it this year is not quite a good idea. What do you usually bring when you are traveling? What's inside your luggage when you go on a holiday? Aside from clothes, of course, there are some things that you don't wanna miss in your luggage when you go on a trip. I made my own list of things that I will bring when I go traveling, but of course, these things will depend on the place you are going to visit and what kind of activity you will do while on vacation. First on my list is my cell phone. I guess this is the most important (aside from money) thing that you shouldn't forget because aside from being a basic necessity, you can call your family or friends to give them update if you have reached your destination safely. It’s been a while since the last time I write on my blog and for some reasons I got tired of writing, became lazy and occupied with a lot of things. I used to write on my other blog, though it’s private and I kept it that way because that is the only outlet where I write my emotions. I feel better whenever I write my feelings rather than showing them.
